BS has recently projected and realized the new chains of the H series, particularly suitable for being used in applications such as: tool machines, big factories, offshore and inshore, cranes and lifting apparati.
The new chains H57, H80 and H110 have internal dimensions that range from 57 mm to 110 mm internal height and 50-500 mm internal width.
The links are realized in Polyammide reinforced with glass fiber in order to guarantee the maximum seal. The realization of this new series, developed by the Research and Development Department, is the result of the 30 -year old experience and it is the reply to machine constructors and industrial plants that are looking for reliability and ergonomics without forgetting cost/quality ratio.
The particular design “made in Italy” is characterized by double external reinforces that give stability to the chain also in applications with lateral mounting either supported or suspended.
The lower reinforce permits the use of the chain also with long travel distances as it creates a perfect sliding surface for movements without vibrations and with few sounding emissions.
These chains are more self supporting than the ones of the same dimensions.
Series H is available in different versions with:
- Snap/hinge frame
- Nylon cover
- Aluminium cover
- Aluminium frames
- Aluminium or steel rods
- Machined crossed frame
We can focus on the joining pin that has been realized in order to make easier the opening of the chain link and the maintenance of the cables inside. The pin opening needs 4 basic steps in the other chains while with the H series pin you need only one setscrew wrench to open the pin. By turning on one side or on the opposite one we can unscrew or screw the component. Its diameter and the material resistance haven’t changed as they are made of excellent material, polyammide reinforced with glass fiber made by Bs. In order to complete the introduction of this new opening and to give further help to the user we applied two symbols on the chain links that indicate the opening and closing direction of the pin. A second focus is on another component that keeps the side bands together: the frame.
The frame of this series can be produced for all the opening ways and it has a graphic that permits to put the separator according to the user’s request. Thanks to a toothing on the frame we have the possibility to decide the position of the separator, by making it fix or movable, that is hooked or not to the toothing. The numeration on the frame base needs to identify the mounting position of the separator that has been projected to facilitate the internal separation system of the chain. The end brackets positioned at the ends of the chain have been planned to make easier the mounting and increase the resistance to traction.. We can have this new series in sliding version too, suitable for long travel distances.
Series H chains are personalized with “ad hoc” solutions to satisfy the most complicated requirements
